The radio box can be fitted with this adhesive foam. The glue is very sticky! |
![]() |
Put the foam in the bottom of the radio box which is surprisingly large to accommodate all kind of combinations of receivers and receiver batteries. |

There is a hole in the bottom part of the radio box
that can be equipped with a rubber edge. The hole is there to get the 2 servo and other wires like the AMB personal transponder in. We keep wondering why
engineers keep putting this hole at an place that cant be reached easily
when these wires need to be worked at or the servos need to be changed. |

The switch plate accommodate also a clamp antenna
tube holder. Very nice feature so you can be sure the antenna tube is not pulled out during a race and can be easily replaced when broken. |

The switch holder fits with two screws to the radio
box. A blind plate for racers who do not use a switch is not supplied or available. A piece of DUCK tape will do the job to keep water and moisture out. |

Then a rubber booth can be placed if needed. |

The tip of the antenna tube can be covered with a rubber cap. |

The whole radio box with antenna tube. For those using DSM radios who do not use long antenna wires but put their antenna wire in the radio box it selves can reduce weight by not mounting the antenna clamp. A shorted antenna tube however can always be used when using DSM radios and the antenna wire outside the radio box. Page 34 now tells you to mount the radio tray but please skip this step now as we come in trouble when getting the servo wires through the hole of the radio box. |
