Take these parts for STEP 10. The small hinge pins are 3x34 m/m. |

Place at one side of the hinge pin a 2.5 m/m E-clip. |

Fit the left upper arm between the hinge pin holders (use the lower
hole) and slide the hinge pin through the arms and the holders to the
front. As this the upper hinge pin holder is aluminum it would have been
nice if two 3 m/m holes (see the red marks) were drilled to accept an 3
m/m set screw. This way we prevent the upper hinge pin from rotating and
wearing out the hole that is in the front shock stay. Then we also do not
need to use E-clips anymore on this upper hinge pin. Do the same for the
right upper arm. |

As the holes are not factory drilled (you can always drilled them
yourself) we have to secure the front of the hinge pin with two 2.5 m/m
E-clips. One thing must be mentioned here. The holes
where the hinge pin goes through the front shock stay are drilled in a
larger size then the hinge pin itself. So this gives already unnecessary
play on the upper front arms. |
