This is the building process of a GS-Racing STORM PRO with all pro's and con's found.

The parts needed for STEP 14 |
 |
First fit a 3 m/m set screw in the stopper. You need
two of them. |
 |
Then press a 8x16 m/m ball bearing in the hub carrier so it
is flush with the outside. |
 |
Take the CVD and slide an 8x16 m/m ball bearing over it. |
 |
Slide the CVD through the bearing inside the hub carrier. |
 |
The hole in the CVD axle need to be about 3 m/m through. |
 |
Fit in each arm a 4x12 m/m set screw from the top of the arm. These
screws become the ride height setting screws. Turn them in until the screw
leaves the other side of the arm so they are flush with the arm. Watch the
shape of the arm to have the correct fitting of the set screws. |
 |
This is the RIGHT lower suspension arm. Use hinge pin holder
marked with an "B" and slide an 4x57 m/m hinge pin through.
Watch the groove of the hinge pin. |
 |
Now secure the hinge pin with a 4x4 m/m set screw. Use some
thread lock. |
 |
Do the same for the LEFT lower suspension arm using hinge
pin block marked with an "A" |
 |
Both lower arms ready with the hinge pin blocks fitted. |
 |
For setting the right amount of TOE-INN at the rear you need
to use these small eccentric plastic bushings. The are marked with a small
hole at one side. |
 |
They can be placed with the hole pointing to the right. We
are looking to the front of the hub carrier. For the front of the hub
carrier I used the hole pointing to the outside. |
 |
Or to the left for less TOE-INN pointing to the inside. |
 |
The rear of the hub carriers I used the holes pointing to
the inside. By a little pressing you can fit them in the correct position
or take them out with a small screw driver.
I used the setting with the most TOE-INN what means 3.5 degrees
according to the manual. |
 |
Take the RIGHT lower suspension arm and the RIGHT hub
carrier and place this one in the arm. Slide a 3x36 m/m hinge pin through. |
 |
Now fit the stopper and slide the hinge pin through it
further. |
 |
Place the two black plastic washers and slide the hinge pin
through until it is flush with the exit of the arms at both sides. Then
secure the set screw in the stopper to fix the hinge pin. By changing the
position of the black plastic washers you can change the wheelbase of the
car.
Do the same sequence for the LEFT lower suspension arm and LEFT rear hub
carrier. |
 |
The both lower rear suspension arms ready. |
