STEP 2

Take these parts for STEP 2 for a front or rear dif.
The center dif has different black flat gear and a dif output with flat spots.
We are going to build all three diff in one routine.
Fill the front with 5.000 Cs center with 7.000 Cs and rear with 1.000 Cs silicone oil.
TIP! Mark the front or rear dif with a small inscription in the dif case before filling it.
Fill all diff's until the fluid is level with the connection point of the crossing pins. Let the fluid settle for a few minutes.
Fit an 8x16 m/m ball bearing on the front/rear and center gear.
Put some grease on the dif outputs and slide the dif output shaft into the gear.
This is what you get for front/rear and center dif.
Slide the yellow silicone o-ring over the output shaft.
Take a sun gear and place it as the picture shows on the output shaft and gently press the o-ring at it's place. When ready take the sun gear off.
Now fit a 6x10 bronze bushing and press it on its place like you did with the o-rings. Put some grease on the bronze bushing.
The bronze bushings on its place.
Slide the small pin through the hole in the output shaft an align it.
Fit the paper sealing in the inside of the dif gear. Do the same for the center gear (sorry no picture available with paper sealing).
Put the sun gear like this in the dif case. Place the just assembled dif gears on top and make sure the pin slides in the groove at the rear of the sun gear.
Fix four 3x12 m/m self tapping round head screws and secure the dif gear to the dif case. Do not over tight the screws! When de screws are tightened turn the outputs and feel for free motion. If this is not the case then disassemble the gears and check what is wrong.
The three dif's ready for use!
