This is the building process of a GS-Racing STORM PRO with all pro's and con's found.
These are the parts for STEP 25 |
Mount two radio plate mounts with 3x10 m/m counter sunk screws and use 3
m/m counter sunk washers. Use thread lock!
Take notice that the servo in the picture are mounted the wrong way! |
Now fit the third radio plate mount between both servo's with a 3x10
countersunk screw and use a 3 m/m countersunk washer. Use thread lock |
This is how the manual suggested to mount the
servo's. As you can see the radio plate mounts are to short as the servo's
are to high! |
This is the correct way of mounting the servo's. Make
sure the wire of the steering servo is always running along this side of
the center radio post mount! |
Take the radio box and make the cables run in the square hole. Also put
the connectors that are going to be used for switching ON/OFF the receiver
through this square. Place the radio plate on the radio box. |
Place the receiver in the radio box and make sure the antenna wire is
located at the place the picture shows. |
The radio box only accepts hump packs. The way the pack is build in the
picture leaves enough space for a large receiver and foam. |
Now place the top of the radio box on the bottom part and make sure the
antenna wire can exit the radio box at the place the picture shows. |
Now fit three 3x15 m/m self tapping round head screws to fix the radio
plate to the radio box and the right side of the radio box. |
Put the antenna wire through the antenna tube and fix the antenna spring
with a 3x15 m/m self tapping round head screw to the radio box. |
The radio system ready to mount on the car. |
