This is the building process of a GS-Racing STORM PRO with all pro's and con's found.

We need these parts for STEP 5 to assemble the rear gear box. |
 |
First we start to assemble the rear wing stay. Take an aluminum tube and
fix it with a counter sunk 3x20 m/m screw and a M3 counter sunk washer.
Use some thread-lock to secure it. |
 |
Now also do the same for the second rear tube using the same counter
sunk 3x20 m/m screws. Make sure the wing plate is in the highest position
possible. |
 |
When one side is ready, do the same for the other side and it should look like
this. |
 |
Use 3x23 m/m screws to fix the shock bushings. Use some thread-lock.
I used the suggested holes from the manual as the picture shows. |
 |
Take the two large balls and fix them 3x12 m/m screws. Use some
thread-lock.
I used the center holes suggested from the manual as the picture shows. |
 |
The rear body post need to be secured with a 3x12 m/m self tapping
counter sunk screw and a M3 counter sunk washer. |
 |
Now fix the wing-stay to the shock plate with 3x12 m/m self tapping
counter sunk screws and use M3 counter sunk washers. |
 |
Place two 3x12 m/m self tapping counter sunk screws and use a M3 counter
sunk washers for the red marked spots. |
 |
Use two self tapping round head 3x15 m/m screws to secure the rest of
the wings stay to the shock mounting plate. I found
these two screws very short for the place where they are used! One even
did not gripped in the plastic enough! Longer ones would be advisable to
use! |
 |
Fix the rear upper hinge pin holder plate with two 3.5x16 m/m self tapping
counter sunk screws. The red marked spot is the part we talking about. The
picture shows a later stage of the building! I forgot to take a picture of
it! Oohps! |
 |
The rear gear box unit now also ready! |
