This is the building process of a GS-Racing STORM PRO with all pro's and con's found.

These are all parts needed for STEP7. |
 |
First fit the small 3 m/m set screws three turns in the brake cam.
Do not use thread lock on these small 3 m/m set
screws! |
 |
Slide the two flanged ball bearings over the brake cams. |
 |
Now fit the two brake cams in the holes of the center of the diff
supports |
 |
Ben one of the brake levers in this angle. |
 |
So one is flat and one is bend upwards some degrees. This will make the
lower brake lever that actuates the rear brake cam make an easier angle on
the later to mount brake rods. |
 |
Fit the flat bake lever in the brake cam that is not near the main gear.
And slightly fasten the 3 m/m set screw. In my case the lower brake lever
was touching the differential case and I had to bend it a little upwards
so it would not touch the dif. |
 |
Take the carbon top plate and first
use some fine sanding paper to sand the edges of this plate. Then apply on
the edges around this plate a thin layer of Cyano Acrylic glue.
This prevents carbon splinters to enter your
fingers.
Now fit the top plate over the two brake cams and secure them with four
3x12 m/m self tapping counter sunk screws and use counter sunk washers.
Then fit the top brake lever and also fasten the 3 m/m set screw there slightly. |
 |
The center dif ready but the manual mentioned to mount a plastic brake
pad fuel protection cover plate. But that was not in the bags we already opened.
No problem as we can still mount it in a later stage as I found out when
the part is taken from one of the other bags. Watch the extra hole at the
front of the dif top plate. This hole we need to fasten this cover plate later. |
