STEP 9

Take the bag with STEP 9-17 and open it.
This is the contents of the STEP 9-17 bag.
The paper nicely mention which parts are in STEP 9-17.
Take these parts first.
Use a plyer to push in the 6.8x6 m/m balls.
Take one upper arm and ball joint. The left/right thread need to be placed in a different way as the manual suggests. This is what becomes the LEFT upper arm. The left/right thread has a mark (see the red arrow). For the left arm we place this side inside the ball joint. Screw the left/right thread in slowly in both parts without the plastic becoming warm.
Take one upper arm and ball joint. The left/right thread need to be placed in a different way as the manual suggests. This is what becomes the RIGHT upper arm. The left/right thread has a mark (see the red arrow). For the left arm we place this side inside the upper arm. Screw the left/right thread in slowly in both parts without the plastic becoming warm.
The finished upper front arms. Make sure the distance between the plastic parts is 7 m/m. When mounted in a later stage to the gear box you will see why we did not followed the manual concerning the left/right thread and making both upper arms the same.
