This is the building process of a Hong Nor X1-CR with all pro's and con's found.

Step 1

This prevents parts getting lost
Take a clean table to build the car on.

Lets start!!!!
Take one of the differential housings and place 8 x 16 x 5 mm ball bearing on the differential output shaft.
picsstep1-005.jpg (41685 bytes) Take a fully round differential output shaft and slide it halfway in the differential housing.
On the red marked spot put some grease.
This grease is not included in the kit.
picsstep1-006.jpg (42296 bytes) By slowly turning and pushing slide the differential output shaft fully inwards.
picsstep1-007.jpg (36429 bytes) Take a red silicone O-ring place it on top of the inner side of the differential shaft.
picsstep1-008.jpg (38669 bytes) Now place the sun gear upside down and slowly turn and push the red O-ring fully in.
Remove the gear sun gear.
picsstep1-009.jpg (37632 bytes) Through the maintenance hole at the side of the differential housing slide a 2.5 x 13.8 mm pin through the hole in the differential shaft.
Align the pin in the center.
picsstep1-010.jpg (39174 bytes) Now place the sun gear with the teeth facing upwards.
picsstep1-011.jpg (36977 bytes) Close the maintenance hole with a 4 x 4 mm setscrew using a 2 mm hexagon tool.
picsstep1-012.jpg (39543 bytes) Take one of the front/rear crown gears and place a 8 x 16 x 5 mm ball bearing on the differential output shaft.
picsstep1-013.jpg (40391 bytes) Take a fully round differential output shaft and slide it halfway in the crown gear.
On the red marked spot put some grease.
By slowly turning and pushing slide the differential output shaft fully inwards.
This grease is not included in the kit.
picsstep1-014.jpg (44036 bytes) Take a red silicone O-ring place it on top of the inner side of the differential shaft.
picsstep1-015.jpg (43383 bytes) Now place the sun gear upside down and slowly turn and push the red O-ring fully in.
Remove the gear sun gear.
picsstep1-016.jpg (42540 bytes) Slide a 2.5 x 13.8 mm pin through the hole in the differential shaft.
Align the pin in the center.
picsstep1-017.jpg (44839 bytes) Place the paper gasket in the inside of the crown gear and align the screw holes.
Perform the steps above two time so we can finish the front and rear differential.
