Step 25

picsstep25-001.jpg (35638 bytes) We now are going to make two rear upper rods.
Take the left/right thread turnbuckles and ball ends and lay them down as the picture shows.
Note the marking groove in the center and how they are positioned..
In this car we will mount all left/right thread turnbuckles so the distance becomes shorter when turned to the front of the car and vice versa.
picsstep25-002.jpg (34942 bytes) Turn the ball ends on the left/right thread turnbuckles and make the distance in-between the red lines 18.5 mm.
picsstep25-003.jpg (36030 bytes) Press the 7 mm balls in the ball ends using a pliers.
Note the red lines marking the ball ends that need to be fitted on the inner side of the shock stay.
picsstep25-004.jpg (56467 bytes) Fit a 3 x 16 mm round head hexagon screw and slide it through the inner center hole of the rear shock stay.
Take the right hand side upper rod and place that over the thread.
Take care the way the rear hand side upper rod is mounted concerning the left/right thread and the marking.
picsstep25-005.jpg (48982 bytes) Secure this is side of the screw with a 3 mm lock nut using a 2 mm hexagon tool and a 5.5 mm wrench.
picsstep25-006.jpg (47041 bytes) Fit the outer side of the right hand side rear upper rod in-between the rear hub carrier and align the outer most hole.
Slide a 3 x 25 mm round head hexagon screw through it and secure the other side with a 3 mm lock nut using a 2 mm hexagon tool and a 5.5 mm wrench.
picsstep25-007.jpg (44013 bytes) Now perform the same steps for the left hand side.
Nice the car comes with left/right thread turnbuckles.
