Step 28

 picsstep28-001.jpg (51304 bytes) Open bag 5
picsstep28-002.jpg (60786 bytes) All the parts from bag 5
picsstep28-003.jpg (53638 bytes) We first are going to make six brake pads form these parts.
picsstep28-005.jpg (40482 bytes) Watch the red marked slots.
They should correspond with the to be placed brake lining.
picsstep28-006.jpg (34378 bytes) The brake linings are pre glued so remove the cover sheet.
picsstep28-004.jpg (33131 bytes) The kit comes with nice non thread bolts for the portion the brake pads are moving on.
This should be standard on every car.
picsstep28-007.jpg (35774 bytes) Take a brake lining and slide two bolts from the bottom through.
picsstep28-008.jpg (34963 bytes) Now fit a steel brake plate and press it firmly in place.
Make four of those single brake pads.
picsstep28-009.jpg (35118 bytes) Perform the same steps as above for the single one brake pads but place an extra brake lining on the steel brake plate as the picture shows.
Make two of them
picsstep28-010.jpg (49879 bytes) Free the holes from brake lining with a 3 mm drill bit or reamer.
These are the brake pads we are going to use.
picsstep28-012.jpg (37056 bytes) Take one of the bolts.
Place a single sided brake pad.
Place a small brake return spring.
Place a double sided brake pad.
Place a small brake return spring.
Place a single sided brake pad.
Note: As the brake disks are very thin the break springs can better not be installed.
picsstep28-013.jpg (38162 bytes) Fit the brake pads and bolt on the upper center differentia holder using a 5.5 mm wrench.
Make the bolt flush with the end of the upper center differential holder as the green mark shows.
Watch the red marked spot for the ball bearing edge.
picsstep28-014.jpg (41640 bytes) Now perform the same steps for the other bolt.
picsstep28-015.jpg (49605 bytes) Make two of them.
picsstep28-016.jpg (42128 bytes) Take lower center differential holder and place the differential poles fully through
picsstep28-017.jpg (41701 bytes) Now fit at the bottom of the lower center differential holder a brake disk guide at the red marked spot.
Watch the green spot for correct mounting of the ball bearing of the center differential.
Nice the car comes with a two piece center differential, pre glued brake lining and the brake pad return springs.
