Step 37
This car comes with carbon fiber radio tray.
Fit a small layer of cyan acrylic glue around the edges to prevent splitters.
Fit the steering servo holder to the radio
tray and secure it at the red marked spots with 3 x 8 mm round head
hexagon screws using a 2 mm hexagon tool.
Now fit the throttle servo as shown also
using the rubber grommets supplied with the servo. Fit 3 x 12 mm round
head hexagon screw at the red marked spots through the rubber
grommets.
Secure the screws with the black plastic
screw plates.
Do not over tight the screw but just tight them until the servo can not be
moved.
Make sure the throttle servo wire is routed as the picture shows to
prevent it will colide with the main gear.
Take the red marked radio tray supports from
the plastic tree.
Place at the red marked spots the radio tray
supports.
Use 3 x 8 mm round head hexagon screws using
a 2 mm hexagon tool.
The radio box exist of two halves.
If you intend to use a switch you have the
option to mount the switch on a black plastic insert.
For those like us who do not use a switch due to reliability issues we use
the full blind insert.
Place the insert to your liking in the bottom
half of the radio box.
The car is equipped as standard with pre cut
self adhesive foam.
This will reduce vibration damage to receiver and battery.
Remove the back of the adhesive tape and
place the foams in the bottom of the radio box.
Nice the car comes with
pre cut self adhesive foam inserts for the radio box.
This should become a standard for other manufacturers too.
