This is the building process of a Hong Nor X1-CR with all pro's and con's found.

Step 4

 

Center differential

 picsstep2-002.jpg (30420 bytes) Take the 4 mm shaft and place first two satellite gears as the picture shows with at each end a 4 x 10 mm shim washer.
Make two of them.
 picsstep2-003.jpg (42346 bytes)  Place the first shaft with gears in the differential housing with the cut out in the center pointing upwards.
 picsstep2-004.jpg (42045 bytes)  Now place the second shaft with the cut out pointing downwards.
 picsstep4-001.jpg (36402 bytes) For the center differential we use the manual suggested 5000 Cps bottle 
 picsstep4-002.jpg (44186 bytes) Fill the differential first 2 mm under the edge of the differential housing.

 picsstep2-010.jpg (41290 bytes)  Place the sun gear as shown.
 picsstep4-005.jpg (39185 bytes) Now turn the readily prepared crown gear with the pin in the slot of the sun gear and align the hole of the differential housing and the holes of the crown gear.
Fit 3 x 12 mm countersunk  screws using a 2 mm hexagon tool.
Tight them in X pattern and do not over tight!

The differentials are smaller then the prvious ones used in the SPEED 9.5
Nice the kit comes with differential silicone oil with appropriate value for each differential.
The differentials run very smooth.
