Step 40

 picsstep40-001.jpg (49440 bytes) Open bag 8
picsstep40-002.jpg (53278 bytes) All the parts from bag 8.
picsstep40-003.jpg (43058 bytes) Fit the fuel nipple using a 4 mm tube wrench.
picsstep40-004.jpg (41550 bytes) Make sure the nipple is not obstructed by the plastic that is moved when the nipple is placed.
Clearly visible the fuel spill drain around the neck of the fuel lid.
picsstep40-005.jpg (41961 bytes) Make the front hole of the front fuel tank mount an oval slit using a 3 mm drill bit in a drilling machine in the length of the fuel tank. Take care during this procedure to work precisely. The oval should be around 5 x 3 mm
Then mount the front fuel tank post using a 3 x 10 mm round head hexagon screw using a 2 mm hexagon tool. Do not fully tight the screw but leave some play so the screw can move in the slit. If you do not make a slit and you tight down the screw fully the fuel tank might split at the seam when the chassis deformed during a crash or hard landing.
picsstep40-006.jpg (43603 bytes) Fit the rear fuel tank mounting post using a 3 x 10 mm round head hexagon screw using a 2 mm hexagon tool.
This fuel tank we measured at 121 cc.
picsstep40-007.jpg (60576 bytes) Slide the fuel tank at it place under the splash guard.
picsstep40-008.jpg (49458 bytes) Secure the fuel tank to the chassis with 3 x 10 mm countersunk hexagon screws using a 2 mm hexagon tool at the red marked spots.
The fuel tank need some small rework to prevent it from splitting.
This could have been done at the factory.
Nice the fuel drain is incorporated in the fueltank.
