Step 47
Take the throttle/break and steering servo
arm off the servo output spline.
Switch on the transmitter and adjust all trims to the center.
Set all endpoint throttle/break and steering settings to a minimum.
Switch on the receiver battery.
Check the rotation direction of the servos.
Replace the throttle/break servo arm and
adjust with the trim on your transmitter that the servo arm is inline with
the servo.
Now carefully open the throttle and enlarge
the endpoint so the carburator is fully opened but the servo is not
strained.
Fit the servo arm screw that comes with the
servo to secure the servo arm.
Fit the steering servo arm and adjust the
trim on the transmitter so the arm is in a 90 degree angle to the chassis.
Then adjust the steering rod using a 4 mm wrench so the servo saver arm is
in a 90 degree angle to the centerline of the chassis.
Turn your transmitter full left and enlarge the end point so full left
steering throw is achieved without straining.
Turn your transmitter full right and enlarge the end point so full right
steering throw is achieved without straining.
Fit the servo arm screw that comes with the
servo to secure the servo arm.
Switch off the receiver battery.
Switch off the transmitter.
