Step 59

	The car comes with a pre cut clear body that has a over spray cover film at the outside.
	Even the body mounting holes are pre drilled.
	No need for extra drilling but we need to do a small work on some other spots.
	The muffler exit was not at he right place.
	We used a curved lexan scissors to adapt.
	Also in the front we needed a little rework to fit it more easy.
	There are several ways to paint your body. Here you can find all options possible. For this body we take route 2 Take a piece of waterproof 1000 sanding paper and lightly scratch (rough) the inside of the body.  Do not do this at the places where the windows are or that need to stay clear. Do not be afraid once the paint is applied the scratches are filled with paint and these are not visible anymore. When the body has a little dull color it is OK. The reason for roughing the inside of the body is for good bonding of the paint to the body. Clean the inside of the body with some soap water. Then dry the body with a paper towel.
	Take the sheet with window masks.
	Apply the window masks to the inside of the body. Make sure it is firmly attached to all corners and edges.
	This is how it looks from the outside. Take a black felt pen and draw your painting scheme on the outside.
	We are going to use a two color scheme and use paper tape to cover up the parts that not need paint with first color.
	Make sure the tape is firmly attached to all corners and edges.
	Always paint the darkest color first! Take the paint spray bottle or an airbrush gun and apply the darkest color you like in 5 thin layers making a cross pattern at 15 centimeters distance. Let each layer dry until the paint is just picking when you touch it, then spray the next layer.

	Remove the paper cover tape only.
	Take the paint spray bottle or an airbrush gun and apply the second lighter color you like in 5 thin layers making a cross pattern at 15 centimeters distance. Let each layer dry until the paint is just picking when you touch it, then spray the next layer.

	Take the paint spray bottle or an airbrush gun and apply the white or silver color you like in 5 thin layers making a cross pattern at 15 centimeters distance to cover up. Let each layer dry until the paint is just picking when you touch it, then spray the next layer.

	Nice the body comes pre cut this should be standard for all cars.
