Step 9

picsstep9-001.jpg (43075 bytes) Take the front lower suspension arm and fit a 4 x10 mm hexagon set screw using a 2 mm hexagon tool.
Turn it in fully so the top is flush with the lower front suspension arm.
We are going to adjust this screw it the latest step.
Perform the same step for the other lower front suspension arm.
picsstep9-002.jpg (42253 bytes) This pictures shows the left and right lower front suspension arms.
Hong Nor has omitted the plastic end bar as we have seen with the SPEED 9.5 due to reason of possible air bubbles and incorrect molding.
picsstep9-003.jpg (32768 bytes) Take the 4 x 73 mm lower inner hinge pin and fit a 3 mm E-clip in the groove.
To prevent E-clips to get loose there is a option kit where the hinge pins are bolt/nut construction.
picsstep9-004.jpg (46503 bytes) Take the right hand side lower front suspensions arm and fit it in-between the lower hinge pin holders.
Slide the lower inner hinge pin from the front fully through.
picsstep9-005.jpg (50605 bytes) Secure this side of the lower inner hinge pin with a 3 mm E-clip.
picsstep9-006.jpg (32314 bytes) Take the 3 x 42.7 mm lower hinge pin and fit a 2.5 mm E-clip in the groove.
picsstep9-007.jpg (46691 bytes) Place the already prepared right steering unit and place it in-between the end of the right front lower suspension arm.
Slide the lower hinge pin from the front fully through.
picsstep9-008.jpg (43050 bytes) Secure this side of the lower outer hinge pin with a 2.5 mm E-clip too.
picsstep9-009.jpg (49436 bytes) Perform the same steps for the left hand side and this is the result.
We find it out of date that the PRO version still comes with any kind of E-clips where an option kit is available to exchange all E-clipped hinge pins.
But according to Hong Nor this has all to do with pricing of the kit.
