Air-filter are one of the most important things
when driving a 1:8 scale off-road buggy.
There are different manufacturers producing their own filters.
Power

size Power
Save Racing makes them for the current brands.
Mugen / OS 201 - 203
X-ray / RB
Thunder Tiger
Crono
RMV - Turbo
The filters are white colored and always come with a sufficient bottle of red
colored air filter oil.
As the filter are white from origin you can easily see from the outside the
contamination of the dirt which is building up at the outer core of the filter.
With the red air filter oil this makes also oiled filters easy to inspect and
check.
But what is the use of a good air filter if you do not use it the right way.
Power
Save Racing tips comply fully to TEAM TWF8 standards for using air filters.
- Take your time to prepare the filter
- Transport the oil-containing filter in a closed box
- Make sure that your hands are clean before you touch the filter
- Make sure that the filter is installed correctly on the air filter holder
- Change the filter on time
- Do not re-use filters!!!

The white filters are dense and when the supplied oil is used they are
doing their job perfectly. Only downside is there is no user manual with this product or any information where to find it. |
